Dances Around The World

On April 15, 2007 at Addison Village Hall, Addison, IL. Description: Addison village invited us to perform and represent south Asia in their multi cultural all day event. We performed five dances in three styles. One group performed pure Kathak showing Todas and Tihais in Taal Teental. Another group presented invocation of God while yet another group performed bird dance and Bollywood dance.

New Year at Maharashtra Mandal

On March 24, 2007 at Forest View Educational Center, Arlington Heights, IL. Description: We celebrated Gudi Padva (Maharashtrian new year) at Maharashtra Mandal, Chicago. Our group presented eight dances in various styles such as Kathak, Bharatanatyam, Fusion, Lavni and Jazz. Lavni performed by Isha got big applause.

Fire The Fiery Tale

On March 11, 2007 at Prairie Center for the Arts, Schaumburg, IL. Description: We staged our fourth in-house dance drama production on March 11, 2007 at Schaumburg. More than 450 people witnessed “Fire – the Fiery Tale” show – to depict the evolution and importance of fire: Agni an intense element of nature. More than 40 dancers participated in the program.

Ramnamam Krishnaganam

On November 18, 2006 at Bajaji Temple, Aurora, IL. Description: Kathak, Bollywood and fusion with Bharatanatyam.

Dance Program for Seniors

On May 31, 2006 at Erickson Retirement Community, Lincolnshire, IL. Description: We performed this program to entertain our seniors and all the people working for them. More than 15 girls and their parents showed their commitment to the community by performing various dances. Girls performed on classical Kathak, Fusion, Bollywood. This was appreciated by all the present.
