Jhansi ki Rani
On June 3, 2005 at Prairie Center for the Arts, Schaumburg, IL. Description: The basic idea of the program was to portray life of brave queen of Jhansi. There were more than 40 dancers in the age group of four to fifty and they performed Kathak, Bharatanatyam, Ballet, and folk dances. The program began with Ganesh Vandana followed by performances from budding dancers who are in the various stages of learning. The main part of the program described the childhood of the queen, her growing up, and coronation with various types of folk dances. The confrontation between the British and the queen in the final battle was depicted as a Jugalbandi in Bharatanatyam and Kathak styles.
Fundraiser for Lemont Temple
On May 14, 2005 at Hindu Temple of Greater Chicago. Description: This was an attempt to show basics of the classical dance – Kathak. Participants performed Vandana (meaning “Bowing to the Guru), Todas and Tukadas (a technical movements in Kathak) and Gatnikas (classical Kathak gestures and movements).

On September 26, 2004 at Maharashtra Mandal, Chicago. Description: The two renowned Indian dance-forms – Bharatanatyam from the south and Kathak from the north – were weaved into the same string of rhythm, giving it the feeling of oneness. Each dancer leads and then follows in a game of challenge.
