On April 19, 2003 at Hindu Temple of Greater Chicago. Description: It is almost impossible to describe India’s diverse cultures and traditions in one show. But more than ten girls from our school staged a dance to the popular Hindi song “He Watan”. In this dance each girl wore a consume from different parts of India such as Uttar Pradesh, South India, Kashmir, Punjab, Bengal, Maharashtra. Some wore Choli, some Salwar Kameej, some Lehenga. The Maharashtrian Nauwari saree was a major attraction.
