On  November 15, 2008 at Navy Pier, Chicago, IL. Description: NBC TV invited us to present Indian dances at their Travel Expo. We presented four dances at Navy Pier expo hall. We started with invocation to Lord Ganesh, followed by fusion of Indian Classical Dance Kathak and Jazz. Then we performed pure classical Kathak in Taal Dhamar with 14 bits and was performed by Gauri Jog. We ended the program with “”Deep Nritya”” celebrating the festival of lights (Diwali or Deepawali). This dance involved holding lights in both hands, on head and dancing on the edge of plates. This requires lot of balancing skills and concentration. The audience appreciated all the dances.
