Diwali Dance At BP Office

On  November 3, 2009 at BP (British Petroleum) Office at Naperville, IL. Description: We were invited at BP (British Petroleum) office to perform dances from India. At the beginning we performed a dance to pray Lord Ganesha to take his blessings. Then five of our students performed on the song “Shantakaram” telling the importance of Saraswati Puja during the festival of lights (Deepavali). We also performed popular Hindi sing by AR Rehman, “Dheem Ta Dare Dhani”. In the next item we showed how hate will take us to sorrow and repentance while love can take you to any success. This was based on the popular Hindi movie song, Is Mod Pe from Andhi and was appreciated by loud applause. Deepawali (Diwali) is a festival of lights and we enlighten our thoughts with positive feeling. We expressed this through the dance holding lights in hands, head and dancing on a plate. It was memorable experience for many and our students equally enjoyed it.
